Trauma healing massage and therapies

Discover a unique path to deep relaxation and nervous system reset at bayside therapies. Our specialised trauma healing massages and therapies are designed to support your journey towards peace and recovery.

Trauma Healing Massage for women

At bayside therapies, our trauma healing massages and therapies offer a profoundly different experience from regular massage. We combine gentle touch with remedial trigger point release and hot rocks to address muscles that hold onto trauma, facilitating nervous system healing, restoring restful sleep, and fostering moments of peace.

Gentle touch techniques

Carefully applied gentle touch helps release physical tension without overwhelming the nervous system, encouraging deep relaxation.

Remedial trigger point release

Targeted techniques relieve muscle knots and tension built up from trauma, easing physical discomfort and improving mobility.

Soothing hot rocks

The warmth of hot rocks penetrates deeply to relax muscles, calm the mind, and promote a sense of security and wellbeing.

Who can benefit?

"The body keeps the score," and talk therapy alone may not fully address the physical impact of trauma on muscles, bones, and the nervous system. Our somatic therapies, including massage techniques, activate deep relaxation, immune system response, and promote rest and digest functions. If you've experienced trauma, these therapies can be profoundly beneficial.

Your session experience

Your session will begin with a thorough history taking, acknowledging your triggers and how we can best support you throughout the treatment. We will only work on parts of the body you consent to and are comfortable with. We utilise hot rocks and gentle touch to release fascia and muscle. As a remedial massage therapist, we can also release trigger points that may cause headaches, tension in the jaw, back, or limbs. Your massage concludes with some quiet time, wrapped in a warm robe, enjoying a cup of tea, allowing you to gently re-centre.
